Security Issue: “Heartbleed”

You may have seen one of the many reports on a newly discovered (and quite serious) security flaw affecting many of the most popular sites on the Internet called Heartbleed. We won’t attempt to recreate the already sufficient reporting, but there are a few good sites we’d recommend for further information.

For our clients on Google Apps, Google is saying that they have already applied the necessary patches. They make no mention of a need to change passwords in this post, but we’ve noticed a few other sites making that recommendation.

For our clients on Office 365 there are no indications that there have been any issues or cause for concern.
